EFSA and RIVM are co-organizing training sessions on dietary cumulative risk assessment (CRA). This training aims to familiarize participants with the methodology, the Monte Carlo Risk Assessment (MCRA) software, and the necessary data. MCRA is a free, web-based tool for food safety authorities and competent authorities to facilitate efficient and transparent CRA within the EU regulatory framework.

Preparatory materials and log-in instructions will be provided before the training. Participants can interact with RIVM on the afternoons of March 17, 20, and 21. Afterwards, RIVM provides guidance via the mail. The MCRA software will be disconnected from EU Academy after March 24 for financial and security reasons. Access to theory will remain.
