Data stewards in EU institutions and in particular people who describe data assets in internal catalogues and/or on EU ODP.
In this webinar series, scheduled in 3 sessions for basic and advanced users, Makx Dekkers, an information technology expert and a contributor to DCAT v.2, explains everything you need to know about: Data Catalog Vocabulary (DCAT) that enables data publishers to describe datasets and data services in a catalogue using a standard model and vocabulary that facilitates interoperability between data catalogues published on the Web, and DCAT Application profile for data portals in Europe (DCAT-AP), a specification for describing public sector datasets in Europe, curated by the European Commission. It is used by the EU Open Data Portal and the European Data Portal.
This content is offered by the European Commission. The European Commission is the European Union's politically independent executive arm. It is alone responsible for drawing up proposals for new European legislation, and it implements the decisions of the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union.
