This module will help you grasp the importance of anti-fraud policies and actions in the EU institutional and legal framework, and prevent, identify and distinguish what may be considered as fraudulent behavior, with the aim of contributing to the protection of the EU financial interests and reputation.

EFSA contractors; EFSA grant beneficiaries; EFSA external experts; members of EFSA's Scientific Committee, Scientific panels and Working Groups.
Learning objectives
By the end of this course you will be able to:
- Understand definitions applicable to anti-fraud matters.
- Understand the difference between fraudulent behaviour and irregularities.
EFSA is an agency of the European Union set up in 2002 to serve as an impartial source of scientific advice to risk managers and to communicate on risks associated with the food chain.
