
Capacity-Building and Training on Management of Stockpiles to Enhance a Common Strategic Approach
The Capacity-Building and Training event will focus on enhancing
participant’s knowledge and skills for stockpile preparedness for deployment.
Through a series of case examples and presentations, followed by interactive
sessions, participants will learn about and discuss essential requirements for
establishing and managing stockpile warehouses (including security aspects),
best practices for managing medical countermeasures inventory, and strategies
for addressing challenges of stockpile
preparedness for deployment.
Target audience
Public authorities from Member States with prior knowledge of stockpiling of MCMs (operation, strategic planning, structures).
Learning objectives
- Learn from concrete examples and identified best practices on stockpile warehouses and inventories (setup, operational management, security aspects).
- Share and discuss the presented approaches, reflecting about whether they can help to inform your national stockpiling activities
- Interact, exchange ideas and network with public authority representatives from other Member States
