In Estonia, the 1st of June is the International Day for Protection of Children (lastekaitsepäev).
It is a special occasion that promotes the idea of creating a better world for the children of today while also focusing on the struggles that children and young people face in the moment.
Schools usually let the children spend the day playing various sports and listening to guest speakers such as the police. The cities or towns also organize fairs and fun activities for people of all ages.
How are you going to spend Children's Day in Estonia?
