During the Holiday season, your heart urges you to give gifts to one another. So gathered some ideas that this year would be perfect to send home to your loved ones, gift someone, and maybe even gift yourself. I know we all deserve something after this year.  

So, something practical, something for the heart or the sweet tooth, what do you think the perfect gift would be? I am a practical person, but we are all different, so let’s take a look at some of the ideas that would not only be nice for this holiday season but also have that special Latvian touch.

Let’s be practical for a second, this winter everyone needs to have their hands warm and wool mittens are the best way to go. Latvians have century-long traditions in knitting, and the mittens are colorful and warm. Did you know every region has its patterns for mittens?
