Day 2024: 20 years of Slovenia in the EU

On May 9th, Europe Day, a national celebration will take place on the meadow in front of the municipal palace in Nova Gorica to mark the 20th anniversary of Slovenia's entry into the EU. This event will feature a top-notch cultural and artistic program followed by a Vlado Kreslin and Mali Bogovi concert.
The events on Europe Day in Nova Gorica will last all day! The national celebration will be complemented by interesting events, from a simulation of the European Parliament and an activities market to presentations of successful projects funded by European funds, a discussion with the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs and selected Slovenes in EU institutions, to presentations of programs for the European Capital of Culture 2025.
These events are part of the central celebration of the 20th anniversary of Slovenia's entry into the EU. Admission is free, so you are cordially invited.
