Happy Europe Day, language learners!

Today, May 9th, isn't just any ordinary day—it's Europe Day! It marks the historic moment when, in 1950, the French Foreign Minister Robert Schuman proposed a vision of shared governance for Europe, laying the groundwork for what would become the European Union.

In 1951, six states—France, Germany, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg—signed the Paris Agreement, which formed the European Coal and Steel Community. It later turned into the European Economic Community and then became the European Union.

Today, the European Union is made up of 27 member states, each with its own beautiful, specific language. Here at OLS, we deepen our understanding of one another by trying our best to learn each other's native language.

For that purpose, did you know that on OLS we have taster online language courses for all major European languages? If you have any interest in learning one of the languages below, just click on them!

Finally, you can find out here about #EuropeDay activities!

See you on the forums,
