I’m curious to hear about your life experiences and the places you’ve called home. In what countries have you lived, and how has each place shaped you?
I’ll start: I’ve lived in two different countries so far.
Spain - I spent several years in Madrid, where I fell in love with the vibrant Spanish culture, delicious food, and the warm, welcoming people. The rich history and beautiful architecture made everyday life feel like an adventure, so Spain is a country that I love to call a second home. As well I visited many other Spanish places such as Barcelona, Bilbao, Granada, Sevilla, Cordoba, Cádiz, Burgos etc. and every city has its unique charm.
Mexico - I was living in Monterrey. Mexico and it was a very special experience. The energy and diversity of this country are incredible, and I've enjoyed exploring the local markets, historical sites, and festivals. The sense of community and the importance of family here have also had a profound impact on me. This is a place I will forever be missing, and yes, the food is really incredible.
If I could choose to add some country on the list, it would be Italy for sure. The idea of immersing myself in its rich art history and history, savouring one of the best cuisines, and experiencing the culture of cities like Rome, Florence as a local, is something that's on my bucket list. Plus, the picturesque countryside and charming small towns seem like the perfect places to find inspiration and tranquility. How about you? Where have you lived, and what unique experiences have those places given you?
