Bartók Feszt' - 30.Aug.2024
The Bartók Quarter in Újbuda, an up-and-coming neighbourhood that has become a real cultural gem in recent years, will host the Bartók Fest for the 3rd time this year. It is a true community collaboration, with popular venues, NGOs, arts and of course music.
During the day, at Szent Gellért Square and the Technological University quay, you can meet a variety of organisations representing important causes in the tents of the civil quarter, as well as craft and children's activities, with a rich choice of gastronomy. And from late afternoon until late evening, there are concerts! With high quality and popular Hungarian artists such as Дeva, Hiperkarma, Belga, Gerendás Péter or the Lázár-guests. So it's worth a day out if you want to experience all the heart and soul of Bartók Quarter in one day, in the framework of a sparkling festival.

Szeged Youth Days - SZIN 2024 - 28-31. Aug. 2024
The Youth Days in Szeged is one of the oldest all-round arts and music festivals in Hungary, launched in 1968, before Woodstock. SZIN takes place in a real beach environment, so you can say goodbye to the summer properly. What’s more, in 2009, it was named a "Green Festival" for its focus on sustainability and the environment, and was even voted as one of the world's greenest festivals. You can see artists such as Armin van Buuren, Zara Larsson and Azariah, as well as a colourful array of other local acts. There are also theatre, cinema and sport programs awaiting you in the city of sunshine!

Szentendre Open Night and Day 2024 - 30. August - 1. September 2024
The last weekend in August is the perfect time to visit Szentendre, a small Mediterranean town just 15 km away from Budapest, where the traditional Szentendre Night and Day Open festival will be held for the 19th time this year. More than 150 activities are planned, including the usual Main Square light painting, free concerts on the Danube embankment, vendors, arts and crafts and of course extended opening hours.
