I'll be the first to share my example with you:
One time, while learning English, I was talking about the word 'colonel,' but pronounced it exactly as it’s written (co-lo-nel), not knowing it's actually pronounced like 'kernel.' The look on my friend's face was priceless, and we both couldn’t stop laughing! It’s one of those funny moments when you realize how unpredictable English pronunciation can be.
