With the approach of a new semester, changes and important decisions arise. Many of you already know where you will be going next semester, and I’m sure your mobility experience will be amazing, regardless of the choice. However, today I would like to hear your opinion on an interesting topic: big cities vs small cities!
If you could now choose the city to live in or do a mobility programme in Portugal, would you prefer a big city, like Lisbon or Porto, or a smaller one, like Braga, Faro or Aveiro?
Big cities offer more opportunities, events, and efficient transport. However, the fast pace and high cost of living can be challenging.
On the other hand, small cities stand out for their tranquillity, close-knit communities, and lower cost of living. But they tend to have fewer cultural and professional opportunities.
What about you? Do you prefer the energy of big cities or the quality of life of smaller ones?
