Dear our community,

Today, we are celebrating the "Serbian New Year," as we welcomed it last night at midnight.

You might be wondering, what am I talking about? Well, it's all about the calendar. There are different calendars used by different cultures to measure time. In Serbia, we follow the Gregorian calendar, so our "Serbian New Year" is the most significant unofficial holiday of the year. Of course, other countries using this calendar also celebrate the New Year, but in Serbia, we like to call it "Serbian New Year."

On this occasion, cafes and restaurants are packed, people stay up until midnight, and the celebration continues well into the night.

What are similar or such holidays in your countries?
