Dear community,
March is full of signs of spring, whether it is the solstice, setting our clocks to summer time or even World Poetry Day.
To celebrate World Poetry Day, here is the translation of the first lines of Betti Alver’s poem Tulipunane vihmavari (Scarlet umbrella )
Kui kõrgel olid lauad ja laed,
Kui lähedal oli päike!
Kui lähedal taevas, kui kaugel aed!
Ma olin väike.
How high the tables and ceilings were,
How near the sun!
How near the sky, how far the garden!
I was little.
While you get caught up in spring coming, don’t forget that the changeover to daylight saving takes place on the last Sunday in March (30th March) at 03:00 at night.
