Hello dear Community,
Today, 5 May is a another very Dutch public holiday, namely Bevrijdingsdag or Liberation Day. While the fallen of the Second World War are commemorated on 4 May with a 2 minute silence at 8pm, 5 May is a festive day. On this day, this year exactly 80 years ago, the Netherlands was liberated by the Allied Forces from Nazi occupation. Today you can join several Liberation festivals that take place throughout the country. Dress yourself in orange (the national colour) - again - and enjoy your liberty today.
Fijne Bevrijdingsdag,
