Today, May 5th, we celebrate World Portuguese Language Day. To all those who speak Portuguese, those who are learning the language, and those who simply enjoy it!
Did you know that out of the 24 official languages of the EU, Portuguese is the 3rd most spoken in the world?
Portuguese is not only one of the most widely spoken languages globally, with over 265 million speakers across every continent, but it is also the most spoken language in the Southern Hemisphere.
To celebrate this day, I’d like to remind you that the OLS Portuguese Community offers a variety of resources to help you learn Portuguese while having fun :)
