News and Updates August 2025
Hello everyone! 
Here we are in September already! It feels like summer is already over. Maybe you are going to university or are starting a new mobility! I hope everyone had a nice summer holiday. Now it is time to look back at our August! We had a lot of things happening.
First, we had a very special day. It was our OLS Open Day. The main event of the OLS year! Many of you came and we had many informative presentations by our dear Community Managers! Thank you everyone for your attendance! And those of you who missed our Open Day event, we have a blog article giving you some main points:

In August we also had a new topic for our new module. The module talks about doing something regularly or a certain day of the week. A1 Course: I go to the movies all the time is a good way to practice your Finnish. I hope you find it useful!
Have you already noticed the big OLSelfie Contest?
You could make a video to win a prize! The contest is now open, but have a reminder, do not forget to carefully read the instructions! We do not want you to fail in the competition because of a technicality! I hope many of you will send a video. It is a good way to show your language learning journey.
We had an announcement about a Live Tour and Q&A for the Finnish community. I hope you will join us on 3rd of September!
From the OLS forums side, they wanted everyone to take part in Take Our General Experience Survey Now! Y4Q2.
