What Are #ErasmusDays?
Erasmus Days is a six-day international celebration of the Erasmus+ programme.
It’s a time when people across the world come together to organise or take part in events that showcase the many opportunities Erasmus+ has to offer.
From students and teachers to professionals and alumni, everyone is invited to join in. The initiative highlights the wide range of benefits - from improved skills and employability to stronger European identity and intercultural connections.
In 2025, we’ll celebrate the 9th edition of #ErasmusDays - and it promises to be bigger and brighter than ever.

Live Our Values, Inspire Our Future
This year’s theme focuses on the core values of the European Union - respect for human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, the rule of law, and human rights.
These principles unite us in a Europe built on inclusion, tolerance, justice, solidarity, and non-discrimination.
Between October 13th and 18th, Erasmus+ participants and organisations are encouraged to host both digital and in-person events - from language workshops, exhibitions, and conferences to social media challenges and creative projects.
In 2024, more than 10,000 events took place across 60 countries, showing just how far Erasmus+ reaches and how deeply it inspires.
How to Take Part
Getting started is easy. Here’s how you can join the celebration:
Organise an event - big or small, online or in person. It could be a seminar, a photo exhibition, a cultural exchange, or a creative activity.
Register your event on the official Erasmus Days website so it appears on the global map of activities.
Share your story - post about your experience on social media using the hashtags #ErasmusDays and #ErasmusDaysChallenge.
Attend local or online events - join discussions, meet other Erasmus+ participants, and be inspired by their stories.

The #ErasmusDaysChallenge invites everyone to get creative and share their Erasmus+ experiences in a unique way. There are no strict rules - just make sure to include the hashtag and show your enthusiasm.
Here are some ideas to get started:
Video: Create a short video with your favourite Erasmus+ memories or a testimonial about what the experience taught you.
Photo: Post an iconic photo from your mobility adventure with a meaningful caption.
Testimonial: Share a written or audio reflection on how Erasmus+ broadened your horizons.
Drawing or collage: Express your Erasmus+ experience creatively through art.
