Prepping up for the holidays? I suspect that by now you are all saturated with Christmas-related content. Me too :(
Sorry to poke in the wound, but…yes, I have also prepared a Christmas-related blog post. However, this is a special one, I hope so anyway.
I will introduce you to a Catalan tradition that is both peculiar and strangely beautiful. Its name is Caga Tió or Tió de Nadal, which translates into English as the “Pooping log.” Yep friends, our Santa Claus is a piece of wood, with a drawn on face, a big smile and a hat, that sh*ts presents.
But there are some rules to be followed.
