This announcement follows a conversation I had with two members of our community regarding how to find the certificate for your placement test.
PART 1: CONTEXT
We now have a new certificate for your English assessment.
The certificate is not compatible with the old English assessment; therefore, a NEW English assessment was created.
If you’ve taken the old assessment, you must retake the NEW test in order to have a certificate of your results.

PART 2
Whether you’ve taken the test already will affect what you see in your dashboard.
1. If you took the OLD test, you will find only the old test on your dashboard.
2. If you took the NEW test, you will find only the new test on your dashboard.
3. If you have NOT taken ANY test, you won’t find any test on your dashboard.
4. If you’ve taken BOTH the old and new tests, you will find both tests on your dashboard.
NOTE: If you took both tests, you must pay close attention to the instructions below.
PART 3a
Finding the assessment in the Spotlight section.
1. From the Dashboard, enter the English Community.
2. Click Resume.
3. Scroll down to find the NEW test in the SPOTLIGHT section of the community.
4. Click, “English Placement Test.”
PART 3b
Finding the assessment on your Dashboard if you have taken one or both tests.
NOTE: please study the two screenshots carefully to avoid confusing the old and new placement tests.

They look almost identical, but here are a few key features to differentiate the two if you see both on your Dashboard.
1. The NEW version has the words, “education & capacity building” above the words, “English Placement Test.”
2. The OLD version has the words, “language & culture” above the words, “English Placement Test.”
PART 4
Downloading Your Certificate
Now that you know how to differentiate between the two and you have a direct link to the new test, here are your instructions to download your certificate after you complete your new test.
Option 1:
1. Go to your Dashboard.
2. Go to the bottom right side of the screen to "My achievements."
3. There you will see. "English Placement Test Certificate."
4. Click the phrase, “See all achievements.”
5. You will see a mini-image of a certificate.
6. In the bottom, right corner of this image; click the three dots.
7. Select, “Download.”
8. Your certificate should open in a new window for you to view & download.
If Option 1 doesn’t work, please try Option 2.
Option 2:
1. Go to the NEW English Placement Test
2. Click: Start Assessment
3. Scroll down to, “Summary of your previous attempts.”
4. There you should see your finished exam and if you go to the right, you'll see the word, "Review."
5. Click: Review
6. This will bring you back to your exam results.
7. On the right side of the screen, under "Quiz Navigation," Click: Finish Review
8. You will be taken to your Assessment Results.
9. On the right side, you’ll see the rectangle with the words, "English Placement Test Certificate.”
10. Click the three small dots in the upper right corner of the rectangle.
11. Select, “Download.”
12. Your certificate will open in a new window for you to view & download.
