Hi everyone!
Today is a public holiday in Romania. Happy Unification Day! For a bit of context and history, in 1859, on January 24, Moldavia and Wallachia united to create the United Principalities. Along with Transylvania, they laid the foundation of modern Romania. Do not confuse this day with Great Union Day, which is also a public holiday on December 1st!
Today we also posted a new blog post on the Living Abroad Forum, "How to Spend the Perfect Day in Bucharest". Have you already been to Bucharest? If yes, comment on your experience in the forums, and I invite you to read the blog post for more tips.
See you on the forums!
