What is the EYE?
The EYE (European Youth Event) brings together at the European Parliament in Strasbourg and online thousands of young people from all over the European Union and the world, to share and shape their ideas on Europe’s future.
Where will it take place?
EYE2023, the fifth edition of the event, will take place on 9 and 10 June and will feature both in-person and hybrid activities in Strasbourg. During the event, participants will take part in activities co-created with institutions, international organisations, civil society and youth organisations, and participants themselves, offering space for discussions and networking.
How can I be a volunteer at the event?
Are you…
- 18 to 30 years old on the day of the event (9-10 June 2023)
- Able to communicate in French (B1) and in English (B2)
- Willing to volunteer at least 12 hours during EYE2023
- Willing to take part in a minimum of 4 training sessions
- Willing to take part in a minimum of 2 visits to the European Parliament in Strasbourg (only if your volunteering activities are conducted inside the Parliament)
- Able to use web tools, social media, and messaging apps.
You won't be automatically rejected if you don't fulfill a criteria, however, those who fulfill most criteria will be prioritized!

My personal feedback: I went to this event last year as a participant (EYE Santander’22) and I totally loved it, I met incredible people, talked with a lot of organisations, and developed my soft skills and knowledge about European Union and important topics like woman empowerment, sustainability, social impact, etc… it’s was a really cool and rewarding experience!
