How to find your way around OLS Forums

EU Academy may be a little confusing to get around, so here is a little guide on how to find your way around to the OLS Forums.

There are two sides of OLS Forums, the Open area and Closed area.

The Open Area

- > The Open area is accessible to anyone, who just registers to the EU Academy platform.

OLS public area offers language courses from the European Community area. There are total of 22 languages available at the moment. At the bottom right of the page you can go to the link Browse all Courses. Select your desired language and type of course you want form the drop down filters.

A tip for you!

How about this Mobility & Intercultural Podcast that has now started? You can listen the first episode here: - > Mobility & Intercultural Podcast, ep 1.

The Closed Area

-> The Closed Area is for Erasmus+ mobility participants. These are students, volunteers and teachers as well as the youth. You should have received the invitation link to the EU Academy OLS Community upon entering your Erasmus + mobility programme.

You can also tell about the forums to your fellow Erasmus + mobility peer, if they are unaware of the forums! Please contact your mobility coordinator or contact person, if you have lost your invitation link or you have not received it.

In the closed area you will find more language courses but also the language placement test. The placement test is for you if you already know the language somewhat , or maybe have studied a little bit and want to know your starting level. More importantly, the closed OLS area includes the language forums.

Each language has their own language forum. The names are consistent throughout the Communities as follows:

The [name of the language] Learning Community and Resources.

You can search for the language of your mobility placement. Ie. Finland to access the discussion forums. Your language forum is The Finnish Learning Community and Resources.

Welcome to the Forums!
