COURSE PROGRESS AND CERTIFICATES

Jautājums:

Can I enrol on more than one course? / Can I change my course level during my mobility period?

(Pēdējoreiz rediģēts: Monday, 2026. gada 9. March, 13:24)
Atbilde:
Yes, you can enrol on any course you like, regardless of level or language. We recommend you do the final test of your current level first, to make sure you are equipped to do the next level.

Jautājums:

Do I need to do all the activities to complete a course? / How do I get my course certificate?

(Pēdējoreiz rediģēts: Tuesday, 2026. gada 17. March, 08:43)
Atbilde:

You do not need to do all the activities on your course. If you feel confident that you have attained the required language level, you can scroll down to attempt the final test and earn the course certificate.

Jautājums:

How can I unsubscribe from a course?

Jautājums:

What do I do if I can't find OLS content for my language level?

(Pēdējoreiz rediģēts: Monday, 2026. gada 23. March, 10:29)
Atbilde:

You can find language courses at levels A1 and A2 for all 29 languages.

We also offer courses at levels B1 and B2 for English, French, German, Italian and Spanish. These are the five languages that you are most likely to need on your journey abroad.

Should you have specific questions – even if they are for a higher level than what is available – you can always reach out to your Community Manager in the "Practise Your Language" community forum.

Jautājums:

Why are there no translations in the lessons?

(Pēdējoreiz rediģēts: Monday, 2026. gada 23. March, 10:20)
Atbilde:

OLS uses an immersive approach to language learning. This means that you will see a lot of content in the language you are learning.

Research shows that immersion is an effective way to learn a foreign language: by using the language more, you will pick it up faster.

Don't worry if you don't understand every word! You will understand it later – the important thing is to see it in context.

On the other hand, the instructions are always available in five languages: English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.

Moreover, most of our videos offer subtitles in 29 languages – be sure to check if they are available when you watch them.

Finally, if you have a question, don't forget you can always get in touch with your community manager in the "Practise Your Language" community forum.

Jautājums:

Why is that I cannot click on "finish review" to download my certificate?

(Pēdējoreiz rediģēts: Tuesday, 2026. gada 17. March, 10:01)
Atbilde:

There is currently a bug that makes the "Finish review" button non-responsive in some cases. The technical team is working on fixing it. In the meantime, here are some tricks that allowed other users to solve the issue.

First of all, we recommend using Google Chrome with a desktop device (personal computer). The platform has issues with other browsers (especially Safari and Explorer), and with mobile devices in general.

Secondly, we suggest trying to access the certificate through this procedure:

  1. Go to your dashboard and open the placement test.
  2. Click: "Start Assessment".
  3. There you should see your finished exam. Click "Review" on the right.

  1. On the right side of the screen, under "Quiz Navigation," click: "Finish review".

  1. You will be taken to your Assessment Results, where you can download the PDF certificate on the right-hand side.

If the problem persists, in particular if the "Finish review" button is still blocked, try taking the test again.

ERASMUS+ AND ESC MOBILITY

Jautājums:

Are there other Erasmus+ or ESC participants in my city?

(Pēdējoreiz rediģēts: Monday, 2026. gada 9. March, 12:28)
Atbilde:
Search for your city in the "My Erasmus+ Experience" forum. You can also search your host institution's Erasmus+ office for local student groups. The Erasmus Student Network (ESN) has local chapters in most European cities and organises regular meetups.

Jautājums:

How do I find accommodation in my host city?

(Pēdējoreiz rediģēts: Monday, 2026. gada 9. March, 12:28)
Atbilde:
Check the "My Erasmus+ Experience" forum in this community — many participants share housing tips, city guides, and local recommendations. Useful starting points include your host institution's international office, Erasmus+ student networks (ESN), and platforms such as Uniplaces or HousingAnywhere.

Jautājums:

I have a practical question about daily life in my host country (transport, banking, healthcare). Where should I go?

(Pēdējoreiz rediģēts: Monday, 2026. gada 9. March, 15:02)
Atbilde:
The "My Erasmus+ Experience" forum is the right place for this type of question. Browse existing threads — past participants have shared detailed guides on topics including public transport, opening a bank account, registering with local authorities, and accessing healthcare. If your specific question is not covered, go ahead and post it. The community manager and fellow participants will respond.
