Where LPs and GPs meet: Understanding the role and requirements of LPs 

This topic brings insights from LPs from both the private sector and Public Funders, who will speak about their own funding model and approach, including what their requirements are and what they look for when deciding whether to back a new Fund, specifically in relation to emerging funds led by women founders. In addition, they will discuss what they identify as the biggest challenges and concerns in backing women-led / women-focused funds and what influences their decision-making. The session will also address the core components for a successful proposal, as well as the advice and guidance they would offer to women GPs and co-founders seeking to raise Funds, including the dos and don’ts of successful fund raising.
