This course focuses on the EFSA Guidance on the scientific requirements for applications for the authorisation of novel foods (NFs) under Regulation (EU) 2015/2283. It focuses on NFs of plant origin with particular attention to the following scientific sections:

- Compositional Data
- Nutritional information
- Toxicology

This course is intended for novel food applicants from around the world who wish to introduce plant-derived novel food to the EU market.

- Understand the structure and logic of how the EFSA scientific guidance for Novel Foods (NF) is applicable to those of plant origin or product of plant origin.
