Course details

This course provides teachers with the knowledge and practical strategies needed to integrate learners' AI literacy into teaching and curriculum design. Participants explore what AI literacy entails, how it connects to existing digital, media, and other literacies, and why it is becoming an essential component of nowadays education. Through comparison and analysis of few AI Literacy frameworks, the course clarifies the key knowledge, skills, and attitudes students need to engage meaningfully and responsibly with AI technologies.

A strong focus is placed on ethical, social, and emotional dimensions, helping teachers to understand how AI shapes learners' experiences, wellbeing, and society at large. Participants learn how to support and assess students' achievements in AI Literacy across various school subjects. By the end of the course, participants will be able to map AI Literacy competences onto their own curriculum and create action plans for integration in teaching and assessment.
