Digital transformation is reshaping how public policies are designed and implemented. This course introduces digital-ready policymaking from the perspective of IT professionals. It explains why digital considerations should be addressed from the earliest stages of policymaking, rather than only during implementation. You will discover how technical expertise contributes to policies that are realistic, interoperable, secure, accessible and easier to implement. The course establishes foundations that can be applied across European public administrations.

Public cible

IT professionals working in European public administrations who contribute to the design, development, implementation or maintenance of digital public services and information systems. This includes solution architects, enterprise architects, business analysts, digital transformation specialists, project managers and other technical experts who collaborate with policy teams throughout the policymaking lifecycle.
