Description du cours

This course offers training in making probabilistic judgements in the role as an expert taking part of an Expert Knowledge Elicitation (EKE). After an introduction to expert judgement, probability to express uncertainty and ways to elicit judgements from individuals and a group of experts, the participant can practice making probabilistic judgements.

Public cible

The course is suitable for experts taking part of an Expert Knowledge Elicitation for which training in making probabilistic judgements is recommended or required.

Objectifs d'apprentissage

On successful completion of this course, you will be familiar with basic concepts of probabilistic expert judgement to support scientific assessment, be able to distinguish between categorical and continuous quantities of interest, have practised making judgements and be aware of recommendations and concerns when communicating probabilistic judgements.

Offert par
