This e-Capsule focuses on how the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union (EU) (the Charter) applies at national level. It uses practical scenarios to illustrate the relationship between the Charter and national and international fundamental rights protection systems, as well as the circumstances under which the Charter is applicable at national level. Target audience
