Rural Schools: Transforming Challenges into Opportunities through eTwinning
Podrobnosti o kurze
In rural areas, small schools play a crucial role in meeting the unique needs of the local community. These small schools are more than just schools for learning; they are important for promoting social cohesion and preserving community identity. Small schools offer several overlooked advantages, such as smaller class sizes, personalised attention, and close relationships.
However, such schools often present unique challenges in education, such as the lack of infrastructure or insufficient equipment to implement ICT tools, the shortage of permanent teachers or the low participation of parents in rural school settings.
This course aims to stimulate discussion among the participants on the challenges faced by small schools in rural areas and find the way to turn them into opportunities in their school context.
The course is offered by eTwinning. To find more courses from eTwinning visit the Professional Development section of the European School Education Platform
