This e-Capsule focuses on the circulation of judgments in succession matters within the European Union (EU), particularly the European Certificate of Succession (ECS). Through practical examples, it illustrates the scope and limitations of Regulation (EU) 650/2012 (Succession Regulation) with regard to the ECS.

Target audience
