The Interoperable Europe Act: Introduction

This short course will provide
an introduction to the Interoperable Europe Act for public servants across
Europe, including the background and context, why the Act is needed, how it
links with other EU digital policies, legislation and the 2030 Digital Decade
targets. The course will also provide insight into what is regulated, who is
affected and demonstrate the key features of the Act. It will also highlight
the involvement for public sector authorities in terms of planning and
monitoring.
Public cible
The primary target audience will be a mixture of those with decision-making responsibilities in the area of interoperability application and implementation, and those with hands-on responsibility for designing implementation scenarios and architectures. They include:
- Public policy officers
- Legal advisors
- Public service designers
- Solution architects
- Systems architects
- CTOs
- CIOs
Objectifs d'apprentissage
- Understand the background and context for the introduction of the Interoperable Europe Act
- Be able to describe the key features of the Act
- Understand the governance of the Act, in particular the Interoperable Europe Board and the community.
- Understand the planning and monitoring, Interoperable Europe agenda
- Understand the involvement for public sector authorities
- Apply the principles in local and national context
