The online course ‘Policy Coherence for the Green Transition’ aims to increase public administration officials’ knowledge about how to strengthen the coherence between actions promoting green transition and other policy priorities. It is  a 120-minute-long asynchronous learning module composed of three units, including reading, reflections and self-assessment quizzes. 

The general objective of this online course is to increase public administration officials’ knowledge about the scope of application Policy Coherence for the Green Transition’ framework and the link with SDG Target 17.14 on Policy Coherence for Sustainable Development.

The target audience of this online module are public administration officials across the EU.

Cuspóirí foghlama

Upon completion of the online module, it is expected that participants: 
  • Understand the scope and intricacies of Policy Coherence for the Green Transition’; 
  • Identify the tools and skills that are needed in the design and development of long-term strategic goals in the formulation and implementation of policies. 
  • Understand the concept of whole-of-government coordination and recognise the importance of cross-sectoral coordination, collaboration and communication between various government departments and agencies. 
  • Understand the importance of developing a systematic approach to data collection and reporting on the impact of policies and financing mechanisms and identify methods for assessing the impact of policies.
