Whole school approaches to wellbeing and mental health
Course details
Grounded in international research, policy frameworks, and best practices, the course explores the concept of a whole school approach, where wellbeing is embedded in curriculum, school ethos, leadership, and partnerships with families and communities.
The course aims to deepen understanding of mental health and wellbeing in education, provide tools for systemic implementation, and foster reflection on professional practice. It also seeks to help schools reduce risks such as bullying and exclusion, while strengthening equity, positive relationships, and resilience. Through interactive activities, case studies, and guided reflections, participants will acquire practical strategies to promote social and emotional learning (SEL), foster resilience, and create supportive school environments.
The course is offered by the European School Education Platform. Visit our website for more information.
