Hi there!

I am coming here with some great news : the Erasmus+ program is expanding! Indeed, a new destination will be added to the list of the 33 current participating countries. And you know the best part? This destination is a European territory based overseas. What a great opportunity for you to see the world!

The new Erasmus+ destination is Adélie Land, or Terre Adélie, in French. It is a territory located in Antartica, discovered by the French explorer Jules Dumont d’Urville and claimed by France.

Terre Adélie is known for its unique and diverse wildlife that features penguins, seals, and seabirds. In addition, it is an important area for scientific research in climate change and glaciology, which makes it a perfect destination for biology students!

If you want to know more about Terre Adélie, I invite you to have a look at the official website of the Terres Australes et Antarctiques Françaises by clicking on this link

Are you excited about this new Erasmus+ destination? I sure am!

Have a great day,
