Dear community,

With Earth Day being just two days ago and Fashion Revolution Day being today, April 24th, it seems like the whole month is in theme of sustainability. Fashion Revolution Day and Week a was born out of the Rana Plaza disaster in 2013 where a clothing factory collapsed and killed over a thousand garment workers. Since then, every year on the 24th of April citizens and professionals around the world take action for a more ethical, sustainable, equal and transparent fashion industry.

This year you can make a difference as a EU Citizen by looking into the Good Clothes, Fair Pay initiative.

The Dutch & Sustainable Fashion

The research from the 2022 showed that the citizens of The Netherlands are the 6th most interested in sustainable fashion of the world. That's pretty high on a list of the 195 countries our world counts. So, sustainability and ethical fashion is truly a hot topic in the Netherlands.

Up Next: Send in your Request

In the coming days and weeks in honour of Earth Day and Fashion Revolution Week we'll be posting more sustainability content within the community. If you have any special requests of topics to cover, just send me a DM or comment and I'll research and create especially for you!
