One thing I'm sure you noticed in Hungary: many foreign cities have Hungarian names. We don't call them on their original names, but we use a quite difficult, Hungarian version instead. What is the reason for this? Why there isn't a single foreign city that is called its original name in Hungary?
Kolozsvár, Lipcse, Bécs, Fokváros, Peking. Each is the Hungarian name of a city located abroad. They have in common that they are not called that anywhere else in the world, only here.
