Introduce Yourself to the Community in Polish

Hello everyone!

This is the forum where some bravery is required: this forum is the place where we all practice our Polish language-skills together! Of course, there are fantastic OLS training modules and resources within this community, but there is really nothing better than diving in and practising what we’ve been learning with the community.

So, let’s kick off with some bravery and start with an introduction… in Polish! You can fill in the blanks and add anything else you would like to share:

Introduction Exercise

Cześć wszystkim! Mam na imię David, jestem z Polski ale mieszkam we Włoszech. Moje największe hobby to nauka języków obcych. Moje ulubione jedzenie to Mohinga. Ci, którzy bardzo dobrze mnie znają, wiedzą, że mówię po tajsku. Nie mogę się doczekać aż was wszystkich poznam! Trzymajcie się, David

From your Dashboard enter the Polish community and scroll down and you will find "My Polish A1 Course" there.
In case you can't find it, here's the link. Let me know if you had any problems accessing it.

Witaj na naszym forum! Z jakiego miasta w Hiszpanii pochodzisz? W jakim jesteś mieście w Polsce?
Język polski nie jest bardzo trudny :) Nasze kursy na pewno Ci pomogą :)

nie jest sekret xD Jest wymiana kulturalna z przyjacielem polakiem, też lubię uczyć się język i kultur :3 (i wanted to say we share our cultures, but not sure how in Polish xD)

You did a great job! I understood :)
You can use "wymiana kulturalna" with "robić" or "mieć" too. You could say, for example: "Robimy wymianę kulturalną z przyjacielem Polakiem". You could also say "Uczymy się wzajemnie języka i kultury" – "wzajemnie" means "each other".
"To share" is "dzielić się", would you like to give it a go and try to say it using this verb? (but be careful, it takes a specific grammatical case)

Well i still have some problems to understand the Polish grammatical cases :0 but Let me try It, i could say; "dzielimy się wzajemnie jęzika i kulturę" but i'm not sure if i should use "narzędnik" or "biernik" on "jęzik i kultura" and i still dont know very well how end the Words in each case xD thank u :)

Don't worry, cases confuse many learners at first but I promise, it will only get better :) BTW, I'm impressed you know the case names! In this situation, you need Narzędnik - "dzielimy się językiem i kulturą".
Some time ago I wrote a blog post about Polish cases, it doesn't teach you the endings but explains their functions, you can find it under this LINK, I hope you'll find it helpful :) let me know what you think!

Nazywam się Chiara Jestem Włochem i mieszkam na Sardynii. moje hobby to czytanie powieści i fotografii krajobrazowej; Mówię po angielsku, francusku i niemiecku . Nie mam ulubionego jedzenia, ale naprawdę lubię ryż, kurczaka i lody .

Z jakiego miasta we Włoszech pochodzisz? W jakim mieście w Polsce mieszkasz? Oczywiście jeśli to nie tajemnica :)
