Dear community members,
Hope you are doing great!
If you are staying in Lithuania this summer, you must have heard about the big celebration, that will be taking place this week.
On 23rd of June, Joninės (St. John's Day) will be taking place, with concerts, dances and festivals taking place around the country to celebrate the midsummer.
Fireplaces, especially around the countryside is a typical view during the day, as people stay late until midnight to dance and chat.
What are your plans for this day? Will you join the celebrations in Vilnius, Kernavė or other Lithuanian town?
Let's share our stories in Living Abroad forum.
Yours,
Gytis.
