Did You Know That in Hungary You Can Splash at Night in Many Famous Baths?

Wellness and spa culture have been a part of the Hungarian lifestyle for hundreds of years. Soaking in the warm mineral waters may feel decadent, but these spas aren’t seen as indulgences. In Hungary they are just part of a balanced life, so if you are an Erasmus student or an ESC volunteer in Hungary, you have to try it!
In some of them, you can also enjoy a night bath!

Another grat place for a night bath is the Rudas Thermal Bath where you can enjoy the night view of the city from the top of the building in a jacuzzi! The Turkish bath, was built during the 16th century in the period of the Turkish occupation. Below the 10 m diameter dome, sustained by 8 pillars, there is an octagonal pool. The swimming pool, operating as a therapeutic swimming facility and you can also find many different saunas in the building.

If you want to try something else, every year on the last Saturday of July, visitors are welcomed with extended opening hours and special programs at dozens of beaches, spas, thermal baths, and aqua parks across the country. So far, dozens of spas have joined the program.
Last year, tens of thousands of guests visited more than 40 spas participating in the program during the Night of the Beaches. Spas are free to organize local programs and provide guests with a discount. In Hungary, not counting the beaches of natural waters, there are a total of approximately 200 spas and adventure spas.
