I have an incredible piece of news to share with you!

Young people between the ages of 12 and 29 will have free entry to museums, monuments, and palaces managed by the Directorate-General for Cultural Heritage (DGPC) on Saturday, as part of the International Youth Day, which is celebrated on August 12th.

This initiative is part of the "day's celebrations, organized in Portugal by the Portuguese Institute of Sports and Youth", and has been observed by the decision of the United Nations (UN) since 1999.

Annually, on this date, local authorities, associations, and youth-related organizations organize concerts, workshops, cultural events, and gatherings on the proposed theme, which this year focuses on the relevance of ecological skills, especially for the younger generation.

Mark your calendars, as on Saturday all roads will lead to museums and monuments!
