La selección española ha ganado por primera vez en su historia el Mundial de Fútbol Femenino, tras vencer a Inglaterra por 1 a 0 en la final disputada en el Accor Stadium de Sídney, Australia. Ha sido un duelo muy reñido, en el que Olga Carmona ha marcado por el conjunto español.
Desde esta comunidad, queremos felicitar a nuestras campeonas, pero también aplaudir a las jugadoras inglesas por su fenomenal torneo y deportividad. Sin lugar a dudas, esta victoria será recordada como uno de los logros deportivos más importantes de nuestro país.

Durante el enfrentamiento de las semifinales de la Champions League entre el FC Barcelona y el VfL Wolfsburg, 91,648 personas se congregaron en el Camp Nou, el estadio del Barça, para presenciar el encuentro.
