Hello everyone!


This is the forum where some bravery is required: this forum is the place where we all practice our English language-skills together! Of course, there are fantastic OLS training modules and resources within this community, but there is really nothing better than diving in and practicing what we’ve been learning with the community. 

So, let’s kick off with some bravery and start with an introduction… in English! You can fill in the blanks and add anything else you would like to share:

Hi ! I am glad you asked.

I recommend the "fabbricante di lacrime", give this book a chace because if you saw the movie you will think that the books is not good but in reality is so much better, in the movie they removed the best part so if you are willing to read the book let me know <3

Hi my name is Aurora, I am 17 years old and I am about to turn 18 the next month. I am from Italy and I live in Maranello, the city of Ferrari, in the northen part of Italy. My favorite food is undoubtly ice cream and pasta alla carbonara ( a typical dish from Rome), I am a typical italian.
If you would know me well, you would know that I love golden retrivers. I think they are the best dogs in the world! They are the better than any other animals to me, because they are sweet, adorable, cute, they are perfect. I can't wait to adopt one of them, is my number one dream.

PERSONAL EXPERIENCE

To improve your English, it's really important to start by clearly defining your goal — that way, you'll stay motivated. Try to practice a little every day, even if it’s just for a short time, because consistency is key. Surround yourself with English in everything — listen, read, and watch series or videos. That way, you’ll strengthen your skills naturally. And don’t be afraid to make mistakes; mistakes are a necessary part of learning. Finally, use helpful tools and take your time learning — progress takes time and patience.

Hi everyone!

My name is Kateřina - shorter version is Kačka, I am from magnificent Czech Republic, and I live in the city of beer - Pilsen. I dont have a certain biggest hobby but I like to photograph stuff and learn about photography in general, I love travelling, experiencing new things, making new friends, exploring new places and countries (thats why I applied to Erasmus intercourse), I like psychology, czech literature and humanistic sciens in general, I like learning new language and using it even tho I am an A1 speaker. My favourite food is lasagna or any other italian food, but I also like mexican food. If you would know me well, you would know that I am a goddamn orthodox person in music and I love 70s and 60s music. I could talk about these decades for hours, but I am also open-minded for any other music genres or decades. My favourt artists are: The Beatles, Cream, The who, Fleetwood mac, Queen, Karel Kryl, Midi lidi (a band from 21st century) and many more. I look forward to meeting everyone! Warm wishes,

My Name is Luc, I am from Germany and I live near to Kassel. My biggest hobby is going to the stadium. I am a big football fan but I also like to play french horn.
