I wish you a very warm welcome to the Finnish Learning Community! If you’ve scrolled through the forums and the blog 
OLS Blog you will find a lot of learning material, fun discussion topics and in-depth article. But what you may not know is, that I Minna am actually the one who is creating all of this. So, I thought it was high-time I introduce myself properly you!

Here goes:
My name is Minna Nelson, and I am currently living in Haparanda, Sweden, where I came from Sicily, Italy in February 2024. We were in Sicily from May 2022 to May 2024 with my husband. (in Italy from March 2022)
I am from Kajaani, Finland originally and have lived in many different Finnish cities in Utsjoki (look at the map where this is!) and Vantaa included. I have also lived abroad in Namibia, Norway, Scotland Italy, and now in Sweden.
I love dogs above anything, I used to have a German Shepherd, a German Shepherd Mix, a Greyhound, a Leonberger and a couple of mixed breed dogs. At the moment I do not have any pets, sadly. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, social media and digital marketing is my passion. I write a blog (very irregularly), have my Youtube channel (very irregularly) and I love to write! I used to have 40 penpals all over the world. Out of physical activities, I swim and ride a bike.
During the winter time in Finland, I go to the ice hole regularly and natural waters are of course my favourite. As long as I remember, I have always wanted to live near a body of water. Funnily enough, here in Sicily, I am not living near water at all! I have never lived this far away from the beach, which is 25 kilometres away! Seriously!
