I wish you a very warm welcome to the Romanian Learning Community! If you’ve scrolled through the forums and the BLOG you will find a lot of learning material, fun discussion topics, and in-depth articles. But what you may not know is that I, Roxana, am actually the one who is creating all of this. So, I thought it was high time I introduced myself properly to you (so you don't have the impression that you speak with a robot, I am very much real...and no, this is not what a robot would say).
Here goes:
So, who am I? Such a strange question, as I can't just respond by telling you my name, what I do for a living, and what my interests are. But I guess this is a good start.
I am Roxana, the community manager of the Romanian Learning Community. Writing these articles for you is a dream job for me, as I love writing, traveling and helping people find their way in a new country. So, I am also a content creator doing exactly this, teaching people how to travel the world by finding opportunities, such as this mobility you are doing!
My background
I was born in Bucharest, Romania, and I still live here. However, I consider myself a citizen of the world, as I quickly feel at home anywhere I travel. So far, I have lived in China, Egypt, The Netherlands, the USA, Portugal and Spain. How? By studying abroad, volunteering, and through mobility programs!

This is why I get you. Moving abroad and starting a new life abroad, even just for one semester, is no easy task. I know you miss home, I know that the cultural differences are hard to understand sometimes. I am here for you! Myself and the whole OLS team are here to make your journey abroad easier, so don't hesitate to ask any questions or doubts you might have in the forums, or through a direct message!
