You may have already noticed the buzz that has been happening in Lithuania these last few weeks. Crowds have started gathering in the shopping malls to look for the presents, many found themselves wandering around the beautifully lit Christmas markets, enjoying hot chocolate and happy conversations.
This Sunday, one of the most important celebrations of the holiday season in Lithuania is taking place - Christmas Eve or Kūčios in Lithuanian language.
During this day, families are gathering together for a celebratory dinner and based on the traditions, 12 dishes are usually served. If you are a fan of fish, you will definitely enjoy this time since it is a very popular part of the celebratory meals.
For this holiday season I would like to wish you peace and happiness! Even if you are not celebrating Christmas, I truly hope that you will enjoy this time of the year and will find at least some magic in it!
