Happy New Year! Καλή Χρονιά! Ευτυχισμένο το 2024!
Στην Ελλάδα, όπως και σε όλο τον κόσμο, η παραμονή της Πρωτοχρονιάς είναι μια πολύ ιδιαίτερη γιορτή. Παραμονή Πρωτοχρονιάς, όπως και ανήμερα, φίλοι και οικογένεια μαζεύονται για να δειπνήσουν και να περάσουν χρόνο μαζί.
Σαν έθιμο, μόλις αλλάξει ο χρόνος ο σπιτονοικοκύρης σπάει ένα ρόδι μέσα στο σπίτι. Αυτό γίνεται για καλή τύχη. Όπως επίσης τα παιδιά κάνουν ποδαρικό στα σπίτια, επίσης για καλή τύχη.
In Greece, as throughout the world, New Year's Eve is a very special celebration. On New Year's Eve, and the actual day, friends and family gather to dine and spend time together.
As a custom, as soon as the year changes, the host breaks a pomegranate inside the house. This is done for good luck. Αs well as children visit family houses for good luck in the new year.
