Take a look at a few and then practice sprinkling them into your conversations. You’ll start sounding like a native in no time!
1. Get your toes wet - Try something new
2. Dip one's toes into - An alternative to getting one’s toes wet.
3. From head to toe - entirely or completely
4. On one's toes - alert and ready
5. Step on someone's toes - to offend or upset someone, especially by getting involved in something that is that person's responsibility
6. Ten toes down - to be dedicated, loyal, firmly committed
