Hey guys, I don't know about you, but I love movies! Even as a little kid I loved immersing myself in the adventurous worlds of The Lord of the Rings or Star Wars, but it was the movie Pulp Fiction that really sparked my interest in the medium itself! It was such an unusual movie, I'd never seen anything like it before and it made me think about the different aspects of a movie and become more aware of things like camera work, scripts and acting. As a comparatively young medium, film already has an eventful history and I just love the enormous variety, from German sci-fi silent film classics to classic American screwball comedies and Taiwanese horror films, it's all there. That's why I see this as the ultimate opportunity to exchange ideas! Here you can share your experiences with the medium of film. What was the last movie that really touched you? What is your favorite film? Do you have a favorite genre? What do you know about film history? Which movie has perhaps even shaped your life? The title is deliberately left open, as I find it super exciting to look at movies from a different perspective, namely yours!
